We’re thrilled to announce that Ed Piotrowski, ABC15’s Chief Meteorologist and local legend, will be the emcee for Art from the Heart 2025! 🎤
A proud graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. in Meteorology, Ed has spent over 33 years in broadcast, becoming a trusted voice for the coastal Carolinas. Whether he’s guiding us through hurricane prep or supporting local causes, Ed is as dependable as they come.Â
With countless accolades under his belt—including seven Emmy nominations, “Best Weathercaster in the Carolinas” titles, and being named Myrtle Beach’s Citizen of the Year—Ed’s commitment to our community shines bright. He’s even earned national recognition, receiving the 2018 John Coleman National Award for his exceptional hurricane coverage.
But it doesn’t stop there! Ed’s passion for outreach and service makes him a perfect fit for Art from the Heart, where his energy and community spirit will light up the room as we come together to support ECHO’s mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness.
