Community News & Updates

Tyler, an 18 year old young man, recently came to ECHO seeking assistance.  Being young and skeptical, he was resistant to open up and express his needs in his current situation.

Finally, Tyler and the case manager made a connection and found some common ground in order to begin working on a plan of action to help Tyler achieve success.  Tyler walked through our doors with nothing but a book bag and a sense of reservation about our agency but 24 hours later his willingness to take that first step and be open-minded had led to him being housed.  By partnering with ECHO and other agencies in the community, Tyler went from a park bench to a place to call home! He now has the opportunity to secure a job and become a strong, independent, upwardly mobile member of our community.  We look forward to helping him facilitate his plan and watching him succeed.
