“You all have brightened up my day, brightened up my life, and made me happier than I’ve been in years…I haven’t been this happy in a very, very long time.”

Our community partners at Planet Fitness have generously provided this Marine Veteran a Black Card Membership! While Michael is a resident at John’s Place, he’ll have no-cost access to activities focused on health and wellness, including a full-service gym and personal training.

Jessica describes herself as a happy and positive person, who loves to play the guitar, work hard, and “be a productive member of society.” She says that she didn’t always feel that way, however. When she was struggling, it was really hard to imagine feeling good about anything.

Bubbles’ goal is to finish school to become a social worker. She is determined to help people like her, “young people who were damaged by how they grew up, and are homeless because they’re really lost and in a lot of pain. Not because there is anything wrong with them.”
