Welcome Home Dwayne

Dwayne is an Army Veteran who came to John’s Place (ECHO’s transitional bridge housing for Veterans) in August, and immediately began working to achieve his goals – including creating a budget, focusing on health and wellbeing, and finding safe, permanent housing.

With support from his housing case manager, Dwayne searched thoroughly for the right apartment to meet all his needs – location, access to public transportation, and affordability.

Last week, Dwayne happily moved into a place he loves that checks off all the boxes…a place that he is proud of and can now call home.

Welcome home, Dwayne!
