“Get to know people before you judge them. Not everyone chooses to be homeless.” – Luke

Luke and Jessica came to Myrtle Beach for a fresh start right before COVID-19 struck. Both with backgrounds in hospitality, they were confident they’d be employed quickly. There was no way for them to know that soon after they arrived, businesses would shut down – and make finding a job extremely difficult. Unable to find work, the couple was unable to afford housing and ended up sleeping in a tent.

Now the couple has a home of their own, and they can begin building the life that they imagined.

Happy Move-in Day, Luke and Jessica!
