Eastern Carolina Housing Organization earns Three-Year CARF Accreditation

Carf Accredited LogoCARF International announced that Eastern Carolina Housing Organization (ECHO) has been accredited for a period of three years for its Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Rapid Re-housing and Homelessness Prevention programs. This is the first accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to ECHO.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

ECHO is a non-profit organization with offices in Myrtle Beach and Sumter. ECHO’s mission is to break the cycles of homelessness experienced by individuals and families and has been serving the 13 northeastern counties of South Carolina since 2014.
